Year 8 student Peter M competed in an Olympic weightlifting competition at Crazy Strength Gym in Salisbury recently and we are delighted to report that he came away with a gold medal.

He worked really hard in the lead up to the event and on competition day he achieved two personal bests: a 49kg snatch and a 62kg clean and jerk.

We are proud of his dedication and commitment to his sport. Well done Peter!
