DGSB Photographic Competition!
It is with great excitement this week that we launch the DGSB Photography Competition with the aim of capturing the ‘essence’ of the current school buildings. Winning entries will be significantly enlarged, professionally framed and hung in the new building, in time for the arrival of students early next year. We value the heritage of the school and believe by creating and hanging these student-made images in the corridors of the new build, the history of Dover Grammar School for Boys will be captured and preserved for posterity.
A further reason for providing this opportunity is that we feel giving present and future students a connection with the school’s past is important in maintaining the culture and identity unique of DGSB.
There will be prizes for the top entries with a first prize worth £50!
All students have been given the competition brief and have until the 11th of June to submit their entries at which point they will be judged by Mr Horstrup and other members of staff.
Entries must be submitted using the M365 Form available here.
We are really excited about this competition and look forward to seeing how the pupils of DGSB respond to this great opportunity.
