A Level Biology students took part in a talk from Dr Martin Michaelis this week on the theme 'What is cancer and why is it so difficult to cure?'

Dr Michaelis joined us from the University of Kent and presented on a fascinating and broad topic. Our students posed some insightful questions and discussed some related content such as "Why do females have a more effective immune system" and "What are the next steps in cancer treatment".
