Please can all parents and carers be aware that there will be severe disruption this week at the junction of Tower Hamlets Road and the A256 London Road by the Eagle Tavern due to UK Power Networks conducting urgent repairs and closing part of Tower Hamlets Road. We were only made aware of this today (Sunday 12th). If your son comes into Dover from the east, we would recommend setting off a little earlier and if travelling by car we suggest you use the Maison Dieu Rd-Park St-Priory Hill-North Rd-South Rd route or the Maison Dieu Rd-Pencester Rd-Priory St-Folkestone Rd route (the latter is wider but is likely to be the 'official' diversion and therefore busy). Do be aware that the Priory Hill route, although quicker, narrows more on North Rd and South Rd, which may cause extra delays and problems.

We have been told that disruption is likely throughout this week.
